Stone Manor retains the grandeur of a manor house of the distant past, with stained glass windows, thick stone walls, and hand-carved furnishings. Modern upgrades pump up the romance, including luxury linens and raised two-person Jacuzzis. An imposing turret houses two popular guest rooms, and at 1,200 square feet, the Manor Suite is a favorite for wedding parties, with its vaulted cathedral ceiling, living room, dining area, private kitchen, and hand carved four-post canopy bed.

Spencer and Beth, the inn's owners, are the secret ingredient that raise a B&B's rating from "good" to "great". The never-met-a-stranger couple leave citified guests feeling rested and, after a hearty family-style breakfast, well fed. Homemade scones and cinnamon pecan pancakes get raves.

And then there's this: when you register, tell Spencer and Beth your skin type and your essential oil preferences (lavender, sweet orange, etc.,) and they will HANDCRAFT YOUR SOAP prior to your arrival (with all organic ingredients). Really!

Spa services at the Manor are easily arranged, and a selection of wines and beers are available for a relaxed afternoon in the gardens.

Winery visits in Loudoun County, "DC's Wine Country," are easy, with dozens of good choices in easy driving distance. Stone Manor also happily arranges drivers for winery visits or dinner at local restaurants.
